Kenny Slaught – Appreciates Continued Success Of Hoover Dam

The project was designed during the Great Depression period, from 1931 to 1936 at a price of $49 million. It was named Boulder Dam at first, but then had its name changed to Hoover Dam to honor then-President Herbert Hoover who offered financial support to its construction. Kenny Slaught notices Hoover Dam could give over 4,2 billion kWh2 annually, due to its capacity of 35.000 cubic kilometers. The structure’s height measures 221 meters, and its length reaches 379 meters.
