Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation sponsored the Girls Rock Santa Barbara initiative back in 2015. Knowing that music inspires kids, Kenny Slaught explains how the foundation fosters their creativity. Those who take part in the program attend various workshops, go to music classes, and perform live. They are taught to question typical gender stereotypes, be open minded, and cooperate. Girls Rock Santa Barbara is a perfect example of Santa Barbara Bowl Foundation’s goal of making arts available to all.
