Kenny Slaught – Boulder Dam Was Renamed as Hoover Dam in the Honor of President Herbert Hoover

Hoover Dam was finished in 1936 after being started in 1931. Its first name was Boulder Dam, but was renamed to Hoover Dam due to President Herbert Hoover’s financial support. The structure reaches 221 meters in height, is 379 meters long and has a capacity of 35.000 cubic kilometers. According to Kenny Slaught, the project can produce over 4,2 billion kWh 2 per year.
