Kenny Slaught Notes UCSB Professor’s Impressive Research

Professor David Low, who works in  UCSB’s Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, plans to create a new global health and development research project named “Strategy for development of enteric pathogen-specific phage”. His research is concentrating on finding methods to manage serious bacterial pathogens that antibiotics can’t kill anymore. Kenny Slaught explains that Low will develop phage that identifies and kills bacteria responsible for enteric diseases in infants.
