The Santa Barbara buildings with the most stunning features are Hotel Virginia, El Pueblo Viejo area downtown as well as the Old Mission’s pink towers. The County Courthouse features colorful paintings, while the clock tower and observation deck give an amazing view over the area. The Lobero theatre was completed in 1873, and still holds events after being rebuilt by George Washington Smith in the 1920’s. The city planner’s futuristic vision is the reason why these buildings still stand today, Kenny Slaught explains.
